Internal Engineering / Manufacturing Logistics System for Siemens Demag Delaval Turbomachinery division.
Challenge:
To develop a corporate portal with cross functional responsibility from Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Quality Control using the .NET framework while maintaining compatibility with legacy database and other proprietary systems. The portal would be the entry point for cross communication and flow of data from one department to another and will be responsible for capacity analysis, engineering change orders, daily engineering lists, non-conformance engineering requests, engineering change requests, corrective action requests, overtime tracking, overtime reporting, manufacturing dispatch lists, assembly & test dispatch lists, and user defined reporting.
The solutions needed to be a Web-deployable intuitive interface that granted instant access to manufacturing and engineering activity and information while enabling new employees to quickly learn the system.
Solution:
Using Microsoft .NET Framework and Microsoft SQL Server as well as custom applications for data connectivity with legacy databases and their ManFact ERP system, AnoLogix was able to create a powerful, sophisticated data-driven web application that empowers users from each department while streamlining the flow of data allowing information to get where it needs to be in an efficient and timely manner.
Working closely with Siemens, our design and development team carefully mapped out each departmental function and data handoff and carefully crafted the application’s user interface to meet the company’s rigorous requirements.

Siemens Demag Delaval’s immersive intranet application streamlines and simplifies the processing and tracking of manufacturing and engineering data and ensures that it is available when needed, resulting in a significant time and cost savings, and dramatically reducing cross functional reporting errors by encompassing all data in a unified database and eliminating department specific databases.
